My goodness! We went today with my sweet Gracie and the entire experience was amazing. The food, service and restaurant were outstanding. We are definitely going back whenever we visit Waco. They were so kind and welcoming. Dana and Daisy were THE BEST! I hope we see them during our next visit.

Collin Street Bakery is one of my favorite stops whenever I’m driving between Houston and Dallas. It’s the perfect place to take a break from the road, stretch your legs, grab a coffee, and of course pick up something from the bakery. The bakery has plenty of delicious options, and there’s lots of space to sit down and relax before getting back on the road. Another huge plus is the Tesla Superchargers, so you can charge your car while grabbing a snack—definitely makes a road trip a little easier! Plenty of parking, lots of space, good bakery treats, and a convenient location. It’s become one of those stops I actually look forward to on the drive between Houston and Dallas. Definitely worth pulling over for! 🚗🥐☕⚡

We stopped by Collin Street Bakery in Waco and really enjoyed it! The bakery is spacious, clean, and has plenty of seating. They offer a huge selection of baked goods, sandwiches, snacks, and drinks, so there’s something for everyone. The prices are surprisingly affordable, making it a great place to grab a quick bite without spending much. If you’re charging your Tesla nearby, this is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious pastry or meal while you wait. Definitely worth a stop!

Beautiful location and building. Terrible absolutely terrible service! Bakery items look great not the freshest I’ve had. The sandwich we ordered took 50 minutes to get! A sandwich! It tasted ok but not sure because I was absolutely starving and so annoyed by the time it was ready. Stopped in because of great reviews and location they are not accurate. I ordered key lime pie nothing about it was fresh it had a bad aftertaste and crust seemed to be several several days old. It was not busy during my visit so I couldn’t understand the delay. No one working seemed to know what was going on or what to do. I won’t return.

The breakfast sandwich was quite small for the price, and it tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave rather than made fresh. There was very little cheese, and most of it had melted into the wrapping paper instead of staying inside the sandwich. The coffee was also not hot enough, which was surprising for 9 in the morning. I understand that your business has a long history (since 1896), and I usually expect strong quality from a place with that kind of background. I personally don’t mind paying higher prices if the quality matches. However, if the breakfast feels similar to something from a chain place, it makes me question the value. I generally prefer supporting local businesses, but in this case, the overall experience did not match the price. I hope this feedback helps improve things.
